Emma’s 3rd birthday was fun and came fast. That was a crazy year for us. We already had a rental and decided to purchase the house next door to ours to flip. It sounded great on paper, but real life is rarely as you plan. Little did we know that our renter was going to bail on us and that the housing market would take a big dump. It was a tough year but we somehow managed. Her birthday party was a nice distraction for us to not think about all the stress in our lives and deadlines. As always, our family joined us in celebration and the kids had a great time while the adults talked and ate.
